The Colonnades is a 20-story building with upscale building amenities, built in 2006, that has only 53 units, with just three units per floor. The amenities include a fully equipped fitness center, hot tub, saunas, and large swimming pool with solarium on the second floor. The building was wired for the internet when it was built, which means better connectivity and faster search times.

Make everything from large, special meals to snacks to in this kitchen that is well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, stove, refrigerator/freezer, electric grill, toaster, blender, coffeemakers, mixer, slow cooker, griddle and waffle maker and goes beyond the basic necessities with all the included dishware, pots and pans, and utensils. Find plenty of space for food and supplies and the granite bar offers seating for four. A telephone with free local service is provided along with high speed DSL internet connection with unlimited use.
Relax in the large living area where there is a comfortable sectional sofa with queen-sized sleeper, two recliners, a 65" flat screen smart ROKU TV with cable and DVD/CD surround sound stereo system. A wet bar with sink in the dining area helps with entertaining. Enjoy the sunsets where the floor-to-ceiling windows offer spectacular, unobstructed views to the South and to the West. Step out the sliding glass doors that open to the large 28 foot wide, gulf-front balcony with full patio set. The polywood table has 6 chairs and there are 3 full length loungers, with side table. Grill out on the barbecue grills at the back of the parking lot or use the electric grill provided in the pantry for grilling out on the huge balcony
Doing your laundry is convenient, as well as helpful, in the spacious laundry which has a new washer and dryer (May, 2026), iron/ironing board, drying rack, vacuum cleaner, broom, mop, bucket and other cleaning tools.
All four bedrooms have ROKU equipped TVs and alarm clocks; the main bedroom also has an entrance to the gulf-front balcony. Two bedrooms share the balcony facing the Gulf and Lake Shelby.
